Kickstart have organised the Under 9’s Football Tournament/Presentations this Season to take place on Sunday 21st May 2017 at Summit Centre, Pavillion Road, Kirkby in Ashfield, Notts. NG17 7LL. This is to give us the opportunity to award every registered player with an end of Season participation trophy and present the winners of the competitive Challenge League groups with their awards.

This has been split into two events with the Challenge League Blue & Red Groups attending together and the Challenge League Green & White Groups attending together, as outlined below.

The teams and schedule for the Green & White Tournament Groups are as follows:
Green Group – Teams: Ashfield FC Green, Bolsover Town, Sherwood Colliery Black, Welbeck Lions Black, Welbeck Lions Blue, Woodhouse Colts Warriors
White Group – Teams: Bilsthorpe FC, Blidworth Welfare, Clipstone Welfare Porto, Mansfield Athletic, Mansfield Athletic Allstars, Quarrydale United Rangers
The expected duration of the event is 3 ½ hours: 1.00 pm – 4.30 pm
1.00 pm – Report to football reception situated just inside Summit Centre. Here you will be given a playing matrix and your team sheet and asked to confirm which players and management are present, to assist with the presentation at the end of the games. Subscriptions will be payable at this point for every player listed on your team sheet, in the sum of £3.00 per player; plus £7.00 for the cost of a trophy (if required) for any player(s) marked with an asterisk on your team sheet; who did not register/qualify by midnight on 31st January 2017 to receive a trophy provided by the competition, in accordance with League Regulation 2©.

1.30 pm – Kick Off. Teams will play each other once in their group on a League basis in 10 minute games. Results will be recorded by the Referees and the League Tables will be displayed on a notice board outside football reception and updated as the results unfold.

3.30 pm – 4.30 pm Presentation inside Summit Centre.

At the presentation:-
• every registered qualifying player will receive an end of season participation trophy;
• the winners of the Challenge League Green and the Challenge League White will be presented with their winners team trophy and their players will receive an individual trophy in addition to their participation trophy;
• both group winners of the Tournament on the day will receive a winners team trophy and their players will receive an individual medal.

General Information
Admission and parking for anyone wishing to attend is free and unlimited although vehicle sharing, wherever possible, would be appreciated to keep traffic to a minimum.

Football boots must be removed before entering the Centre for the presentation.

Official photographers have been appointed for the event which, by its very nature, is a public arena. They have asked us to point out that by attending, the participants and their parents acknowledge this fact, and that this may result in the recording of his/her image.
Photos will be available for purchase on the day, if required.

A licenced bar, hot and cold food, drinks and confectionery will be available all day.
